Matthew is a 12-year-old Caucasian boy with reddish brown hair, a fair freckled complexion, and an engaging smile. He is outgoing, talkative, and curious, often asking questions or relating some interesting facts. Matthew recently earned his Orange belt in Tae Kwon Do and is motivated to earn the next one. He also enjoys bowling, video games, and board games. He plays a mean game of Chinese Checkers, but is willing to share his strategies with less skilled players. Matthew also enjoys collecting and recycling items, sometimes using them to make crafts.

Matthew requires an adoptive home with parents who are unconditionally committed to him, and who will absorb him fully into their hearts and home. Parents with patience, understanding and a sense of humor are desirable. Matthew is comfortable with adult interaction, habitually parenting his younger brothers in the past. It may be refreshing for him to be the only or younger child in a family.
