of Orange County!
In response to
the article highlighting Heart Gallery in the Sunday,
January 2, 2005 issue of Parade magazine, a group
of Orange County citizens from all walks of life
came together on January 29, 2005 to establish a
Heart Gallery Chapter in Orange County, California.
This volunteer group is working very closely with
Orange County Social Services (OCSSA) and CASA (Court
Appointed Special Advocates).

To
present expressive professional portraits
of some of our county’s precious foster
children who are ready for adoption and awaiting
their “forever families”
•
To
raise awareness of the fact that there are
approximately 130,000 children across the
country waiting for permanent adoptive homes
and a half million children in the foster
care system altogether
•
To
promote adoption and fostering in general
•
To
encourage participation in CASA
(Court Appointed Special Advocates)
