These beautiful
collectible jewelry items were designed exclusively
for the Heart Gallery Orange County by the award winning
artist, Marilee
Nielsen, with the intent that each piece purchased
is another heart touched by the Heart Gallery. The beauty
of the adoption process symbolized in the Touching Heart
Pendant is represented by the abstract silver heart
that flows around a blue topaz, signifying a parental
figure, and a smaller citrine, the child, nestled below
and in the inside arc of the heart. The faceted stones,
in combination with the silver heart, embody the transformative
experience of being a parent.
Our first handcrafted piece was sold at our live auction
during the 2007 Gala to Jeevan and Tami Daniels of Anaheim
Hills, who are now strongly considering beginning their
lives as foster parents as a result of being touched
and inspired by our event. (pictured

All of our collectible pieces will be available for
purchase in the Spring of 2007 with a portion of the
proceeds going directly to the Heart Gallery. The pieces
include a replica of the first handcrafted design, smaller
pendants, earrings, and bracelets. The first 100 items
will be numbered as the first official 100 hearts touched
by the Heart Gallery. We hope we’ve touched your
heart in raising awareness for the need of foster and
adoptive homes in our community.
